Our pilot announced the flight would take an hour and forty and the current temp in Barcelona was 20 c with clear skies. :)
Our little apartment is in an area called Barri Gotic (Gothic quarter) very close to the waterfront. Gary was extremely happy as he likes to be close to boats and water. Barcelona's waterfront reminded me of the other place Columbus named "The City of Angels". Of course without the smog, rollerblading and rap music coming out of boom boxes.
Our first taste of Spanish paella. Gary says the one I made was better. (think he had too much tinto vino)
After dinner, we strolled around the old fishing neighborhood of Barceloneta and did a bit of window shopping ( even in the dark )
