Thursday, May 9 Girona - Morning

Our bus tour to the Dali museum made a stop in the morning in the town of Girona, in northern Catalunya. (thx Jennifer) Girona was founded by the Romans. The medieval quarter has beautiful historic walls, Arab baths, Romanesque architecture and the towering Gothic cathedral is located there.

You enter the city via bridge with colorful facades of houses to welcome you. Reminded me so much of Florence. We spent the morning exploring this little peaceful town, had lunch by the river then hop back on the big bus like good little school kids:)
